Chigo Uzoigwe

Director of Development – Infrastructure

Chigo Uzoigwe joined McCord Development in 2017 and currently serves as the company’s Director of Land Development. He is responsible for underwriting and managing the land development of Generation Park, the 4,200-acre commercial development in northeast Houston’s Lake Houston community.

An accomplished construction management professional, Chigo has 14 years of experience in engineering and project management on a national and global scale. Prior to joining McCord, Chigo served as a Civil Project Manager at PBK Architecture, where he provided civil design support during construction projects. His other professional experience includes tenure at Chimuzo Engineering and Construction, Thomas Crown Engineers and Constructors, Nestoil PLC, William P. Young Construction, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Muni Railway.

Chigo earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, a B.S. in Civil Engineering from San Francisco State University and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford. He is a corporate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Concrete Institute (ACI) and American Wood Council (AWC). In Chigo’s free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
